Contingency Program

Welcome to the 2008 Toyo Tires Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series Contingency Program. Some of you may have never heard of Contingency Programs before while others will be familiar with the concept. In plain terms a Contingency Program is a rewards program where company's post monetary rewards for racers that use their product, display the sponsors decals on their vehicle, meet any other Contingency Sponsors requirements and are a Winner or Runner Up in a class where the company has posted Contingency's.

I must stress this is not FREE money just because you've purchased their product or service. Most Contingency Sponsors have requirements that must be met before Contingency Rewards will be paid. Before you purchase parts for your car, consider Contingency Sponsors that provide you a reward for using their product when you win. Conditions do apply and for details please read on.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Contingency Rewards you must first be a Member of the Toyo Tires Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series. Access to the Contingency Program is just one of the benefits of being a Member of the Series. For more details and to become a member click HERE.

Basic Requirements

There are a number of basic requirements that each racer needs to meet in order to be eligible for Contingency Rewards.

• You must first purchase the nominated product or service and be actively using the product or service on your race vehicle for the entire event.
• You must display the approved Contingency Sponsors Decal on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event. It is the drivers responsibility to obtain the correct decals from the sponsor or from TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• Slapping decals on half way through the event or just before the final will forfeit all Contingencies. This will be confirmed by event photos and sometimes a Contingency Sponsor will find a picture of a vehicle on a website or in a magazine that clearly shows the decals were not displayed earlier in the event.
• If you are a Winner or Runner Up, have met all the sponsor requirements and wish to claim Contingency Rewards, you must present your vehicle after the final for Contingency verification. Verification will be conducted after the race presentation.

How to become a Contingency Program Sponsor

Contingency sponsorship is an incentive program of sorts. A program where you're not only exposing thousands of potential customers to your company or brand but you're ensuring that racers have an even greater reason to purchase your products or services. Products or services they are going to purchase from somewhere, so with being a Contingency Sponsor in the Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series, they are more likely to purchase from you. Contingency Program Payouts

Currently there is over $187,875 available in the Series Contingency Program which is over $37,575 per event. Below you'll see a list of Contingency Sponsors, the classes they have nominated Contingency's in and the Contingency Reward money available to racers meeting the requirements. 100/50 indicates $100 for the Winner & $50 for the Runner UP. Some classes don't have Contingency's at this stage but that will change as more and more sponsors join the program.

Payments
Following each event, completed claim forms are processed by TTSCGDRS and followed to the Contingency Sponsor for consideration. If all sponsor requirements are meet the payments are then processed by each sponsor according to their own company procedure and in most cases this with be within 45 days. Like we said in the beginning, this is not FREE money. It is available, but only after the sponsor is satisfied that you have meet their requirements. So if a sponsor requests additional information, co-operate and provide whatever they need to ensure payment is processed. Contingency Rewards are in addition to event prize money and can be the icing on the cake for making it to the final round at an event. Make sure you get your fair share by following the rules and being prepared.

Additional Requirements

Following are additional requirements that

Haltech

• Must be actively using one of the following Haltech Products on the race vehicle, E6X, F10X, E6GMX, E8, E11v2, Interceptor or Haltech Dash.
• Unit must have been purchased after the 1/1/05.
• One unaltered decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by Haltech or TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
  
• Release for photographs of the car/team to be used in Haltech marketing material.
  
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

Hi Octane Racing

• Contingency will be paid on any purchase of $500 or more in the past 30 days of Contingency claim from Hi Octane Racing or a recognised Hi Octane Racing Distributor and proof of purchase is required. The Hi Octane Racing Distributor must have originally purchased the said product from Hi Octane Racing.
• One unaltered Hi Octane Racing decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

Hypertune

• Must be actively using a Hypertune Inlet Manifold or Throttle Body on race vehicle as purchased from Hi Octane Racing or a recognised Hi Octane Racing Distributor and proof of purchase is required. The Hi Octane Racing Distributor must have originally purchased the said product from Hi Octane Racing.
• One unaltered Hypertune decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

MoTeC

• Must be actively using a MoTeC ECU and/or Dash Logger (SDL, ADL, ADL2). Serial number must be provided to MoTeC at time of claim.
  
• One unaltered decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by MoTeC or TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
  
• Release for photographs of the car/team to be used in MoTeC marketing material.
  
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

PPG Gearbox

• Must be actively using a PPG Gear Set or Gearbox in race vehicle as purchased from Hi Octane Racing or a recognised Hi Octane Racing Distributor and proof of purchase is required. The Hi Octane Racing Distributor must have originally purchased the said product from Hi Octane Racing.
• One unaltered PPG Gearbox decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

Ross Tuffbond

• Must be actively using a Ross Tuffbond Balance on race vehicle as purchased from Hi Octane Racing or a recognised Hi Octane Racing Distributor and proof of purchase is required. The Hi Octane Racing Distributor must have originally purchased the said product from Hi Octane Racing.
• One unaltered Ross Tuffbond decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

Royal Purple Oil

• Must be actively using a Royal Purple Oil in race vehicle as purchased from Hi Octane Racing or a recognised Hi Octane Racing Distributor and proof of purchase is required. The Hi Octane Racing Distributor must have originally purchased the said product from Hi Octane Racing.
• One unaltered Royal Purple Oil decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

Tomei

• Must be actively using a Tomei Product in race vehicle as purchased from Hi Octane Racing or a recognised Hi Octane Racing Distributor and proof of purchase is required. The Hi Octane Racing Distributor must have originally purchased the said product from Hi Octane Racing.
• One unaltered Tomei decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

Turbosmart

• Must be actively using one of the following Turbosmart Products on race vehicle.
  - Turbosmart E-Boost 2
  - Race Port Blow-Off Valve
  - Vee Port Blow-Off Valve
  - Any Turbosmart Wastegate purchased after 1/1/2005
• Racer must provide proof of purchase from an Authorised Turbosmart Retail Dealer as listed on Turbosmart’s website www.turbosmart.com.au
• Racers with products supplied by Turbosmart as sponsorship are not eligible for contingency rewards.
• One unaltered decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.

Xtreme

• Must be actively using an Xtreme Clutch or Flywheel in race vehicle as purchased from Hi Octane Racing or a recognised Hi Octane Racing Distributor and proof of purchase is required. The Hi Octane Racing Distributor must have originally purchased the said product from Hi Octane Racing.
• One unaltered Xtreme decal must be displayed on each side of the race vehicle in a clearly visible position for the entire event as supplied by TTSCGDRS Contingency Officials on race day at race registration.
• NO stacking for multiple products.
• Contingency will be paid on 1 product only. No multiple claims permitted.
