Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series - Tow Fund

The Sport Compact Group is proud to introduce the Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series Tow Fund.  The SCGDRS Tow Fund is another unique benefit available ONLY to Members of the Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series.

The Series Tow Fund is designed to assist Series Members to travel and compete at interstate Rounds of the Series. The Series Tow Fund is linked directly to Series Points that members earn at each Round of the Series. 

Following is how the system works.

• To be eligible for the Series Tow Fund you must be a Member of the Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series.
• Each Series Point a Series Member earns is equal to 1 Tow Fund Dollar.  If a Series Member has earned 100 Series Points they are eligible for 100 Tow Fund Dollars. Note. Excludes Away Bonus Points.
• A minimum of 40 Series Points is required to claim Tow Fund Dollars. 40 Series Points equals 40 Tow Fund Dollars.
• To claim Tow Fund Dollars, the Series Member must have travelled over 200km from their primary place of residence to a Round of the Series, as measured by www.whereis.com , traveling by car, using Toll roads if applicable, and using the shortest distance route options.
• To claim Tow Fund Dollars the Series Member must also complete in the 1st round of racing at that Series Round.
• Tow Fund Dollars must be claimed within 30 days after the claiming event or the claim will be rejected.
• Tow Fund Dollars can be accumulated from a number of Rounds in the same season before claiming.
• Tow Fund Dollars must be used by the end of the current season and cannot be rolled over into next season.
• Any Tow Fund Dollars not used at the end of the current Series will be forfeited.
• Points earned from the Final Round of the current Series can only be used in the next Season.
• Once Tow Fund Dollars have been used the Series Member must earn more Series Points before the Tow Fund can be used again.  IE. If you earned 100 point from Round 1 of the Series in QLD and claimed the 100 Tow Fund Dollars available at Round 2 in VIC you cannot claim them again. You can only claim Tow Fund Dollars against these 100 points once and need to earn more Series Points before claiming Tow Fund Dollars again. Note:- You must have a minimum of 40 NEW points before Tow Fund Dollars can be claimed again.
• It is the Series Members responsibility to claim the Tow Fund for the event in question. It does not happen automatically.
• Tow Fund Dollars claimed will be paid into the Series Members nominated Bank Account after the interstate Round and if the Tow Fund Conditions above have been met.
